Updating The Current Dashboard

There are a number of configurable settings in the ā€˜Update Settingsā€™ pop out:

  • Dashboard Name: Edit the name for this dashboard (displays on the dashboard)

  • Make this my default dashboard: This makes the current dashboard the default landing page when you log into the portal (highlighted in bold on the Dashboard drop-down menu)

  • Share this dashboard with all users in my account: allow all the other logged in users on your account to view this dashboard

  • Only I can update this dashboard: If a dashboard is shared with other users on your account, choose whether to allow them to edit it or not

  • Public read only URL: Provides a URL to enable an unauthenticated read only view of the dashboard. The URL can be opened without the need to be logged into the portal.

  • Background Colour: Change the background colour for the dashboard

Save or Delete Dashboard: Save changes or delete this dashboard altogether

Please be aware that if you select ā€œPublic read only URLā€ anyone on the public internet will be able to view the dashboard if you choose to share the URL with them or if they guess it. It is recommended that no personal data is displayed on a dashboard where this feature is enabled.
