On the second tab in the dashboard settings screen, the Create Dashboard configurable settings are similar to the Update Settings tab with the addition of the capability to create a new blank or clone an existing dashboard:
Make this my default dashboard: This makes the current dashboard the default landing page when you log into the portal (highlighted in bold on the Dashboard drop-down menu)
Share this dashboard with all users in my account: allow all the other users on your account to view this dashboard
Only I can update this dashboard: If a dashboard is shared with other users on your account, choose whether to allow them to edit it or not
Background colour: Change the background colour for the dashboard
Clone from existing dashboard: This handy feature allows you to clone an existing dashboard from ones you have already created or that have been shared by other users within your account; just select one of your existing dashboards from the drop down list. If you want to start from scratch and create a new blank dashboard, choose the ‘Create Empty Dashboard’ option.
Dashboard Name: name the dashboard (displays on the dashboard)
Create: create the dashboard canvas
Once you have created a dashboard canvas to work on, you’re ready to start adding or editing the real-time information you want to see.
Your dashboard data is configured using '' – these are boxes of information configured to display the data required to meet your business needs.
