Rooms

Allows the configuration of custom rooms for a conference.

Fields and Functionality

  • RoomID Request Audio: Prompts the delegate to enter a RoomID number.

  • Pin Request Audio: Prompts the delegate to enter a PIN number.

  • Invalid RoomID Audio: Played after a delegate has entered an invalid RoomID number.

  • Invalid Pin Audio: Played after a delegate has entered an invalid PIN number.

  • Invalid RoomID Pin Audio: Played after a delegate has entered an invalid RoomID and/or PIN number.

  • Maximum Attempts Audio: Played when the maximum number of attempts at input has been reached.

  • Maximum Attempts: The maximum number of attempts for a delegate to enter a valid RoomID and/or PIN number, after which the call will terminate. (Value of between 1 and 10)

  • Room Entry Mode: Allows the configuration of a conference room. The three options are: Room ID Only, where a Service Number (i.e. the dialled number) can have more than one room associated with it; PIN Only, where a Service Number has a single room but is password-protected; and Room ID and PIN, where a Service Number can have multiple rooms - all password-protected.

  • Dynamic Rooms: When enabled, custom rooms do not need to be preconfigured. Room ID and PIN must be between 4 and 8 digits.

  • Add New: Click on this to add additional rooms. A conference room will require either a PIN number, a Room ID, or both.

You can also use Text To Speech as an alternative to using audio uploaded via the Audio Manager.

Press the button to switch the audio property into text to speech mode. You can then enter the text string and select a preferred voice. Press the button to listen to the synthesized audio.
