Saving a Service Plan

You can save a service plan by clicking on the Save toolbar button and you will be presented with one of the following dialogs:

When saving a service plan you will also be able to assign a custom service name and/or a service description. Only when you try to save an existing Service Plan you will provided with an additional option to update it.

  • Save as a new service plan: Saves the new service plan, but doesn't prompt for a service number.

  • Save as a new service plan and assign to a service number: Saves the new service plan and prompts the user to assign it to one of the service numbers listed.

  • Update the current service plan: Saves the existing service plan, including its name and description. See Service Plan Version History for further information.

  • If the plan is assigned to a number, any changes made will become immediately active on that number.

Before the save dialog is displayed, the service plan will be validated automatically. (see Validating a Service Plan).
