The Sticky Note is a special node which is used to add descriptive text to the Service Designer canvas. The Sticky Note has no impact upon the call routing of a service but allows users to make notes to explain the call flow or create reminders for themselves. Multiple Sticky Notes can be added to a routing plan.
Sticky Notes can be added by dragging the Sticky Note item from the node toolbox or by selecting the [Sticky Node] item from the [Designer] tool bar menu.
When a Sticky Note is added to the canvas it will be displayed as shown below:-
When the Sticky Note is selected it will display 3 icons above the note along with the selection adornments. Pressing icon will place the note in edit mode allowing text to be edited. Text will automatically wrap to a new line when the length of the text extends beyond the width of the note. New lines can be added by pressing [Enter]. You can freely move and resize the Sticky Note by dragging the selection adornments Pressing icon will delete the Sticky Note from the canvas. The third icon changes the background colour of the Sticky Note. Pressing the button will rotate through a list of predefined colours.
