Conference

Configure a Conference room (see Conferencing for more details).

Fields and Functionality

  • Thank you Audio: The audio that is played after a delegate enters a valid RoomID and/or PIN number (if those options are configured).

  • Record Name Audio: The audio that is played prior to recording a delegate's name (if configured).

  • Room Full Audio: The audio that is played when the conference is full.

  • Joined Conference Audio: The audio that is played when a delegate joins a conference (if the conference is configured to record delegate names).

  • Left Conference Audio: The audio that is played when a delegate leaves a conference (if the conference is configured to record delegate names).

  • First Caller Audio: The audio that is played to the first delegate who joins the conference.

  • Music On Hold: The genre of music that a delegate listens to whilst a conference is not active - either because they are the only delegate to have arrived in the conference, or if the conference hasn't begun because the host has not yet arrived (hosted conferences are a configurable feature). The music genres are Classical, Easy Listening, Light Rock, Eighties and Pop, and it is also possible to have no music genre specified at all.

  • Max Callers: The total number of delegates who can join a conference. (Minimum value: 2 )

  • Record Name: When configured, delegates are required to record their name prior to joining a conference.

You can also use Text To Speech as an alternative to using audio uploaded via the Audio Manager.

Press the button to switch the audio property into text to speech mode. You can then enter the text string and select a preferred voice. Press the button to listen to the synthesized audio.
