When your administrator enforces Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for your account, you will be required to complete the 2FA setup process before you can continue accessing the Advanced Services Portal.
Upon successful login by username and password, you will be automatically redirected to below 2FA setup screen.
The Microsoft Authenticator app or Google Authenticator app are available on both the iOS App Store as well as the Google Play store. It’s free to download and use, so there’s no need to pay any subscription fee. It is recommended you download the app on your phone instead of a tablet, since you will need to have the device always with you when a validation code is required.
When you set up Google Authenticator for 2-factor authentication, you can either scan the QR code by clicking the "+" button on the screen or choose "Enter a setup key" to enter the manual setup key displayed from above setup screen.
While you set up Microsoft Authenticator for 2-factor authentication, you can click the "+" button on the top screen and then choose "Other account" to scan the QR code or click the "ENTER CODE MANULLY" to enter the manual setup key displayed from above setup screen.
After the QR code has been scanned or the Manual Setup Key has been entered, you will see a new account [MAS Portal : username] show up on the home screen of the Authenticator app. In the above screen you should enter the validation code generated for your account on the Authenticator app, click “Validate” to confirm the code has been set up correctly and then you will login to the Advanced Services Portal.
