You can assign multiple service numbers to a service plan using the Bulk Number Assignment tool.
It is not necessary to enter the numbers one by one, if you already have a list of numbers in another document you can simply copy and paste them into the text area as shown below. Each number needs to be on a new line and must only contain numerical digits. All other characters including spaces are not allowed. You can only assign a maximum of 2000 numbers at a time but there is no limit to the amount of service numbers you can assign against a service plan.
The two options available are to assign the service and make it the active service or to assign the service but leave it inactive and then activate it at a later date or part of a disaster recovery plan.
If the service is already assigned to any of the numbers it will not be assigned again, as a service is only permitted to be assigned to a number once. But if its already assigned and not currently active, but you then choose to make it active via the Bulk Number Assignment option then that existing assignment will be updated and the service will then be activated against that number.
All the numbers must exist in your account, if any number is not in your account then none of the numbers will be assigned and you will receive a message showing which numbers are invalid. You should remove or correct these numbers then retry.
