The Distribution Call Delivery allows the call flow to be controlled based on a distribution configuration based on the number of passes through for all calls to the service. However, if an inbound call will not go through (Engaged, Ring no Reply) then the Busy/Ring no Reply branch will be taken (see ).
To add a new destination, press the button to show the destination entry form.
Distribution Type: Configures the distribution mode. The available types are shown below:
Round Robin: A call attempt will be made to the next destination number in the list which follows on from the last destination number called by the preceding inbound call to the service. If a destination attempt fails due to a busy line for example, the system will move on to the next destination in the list.
Random: It randomly selects a destination number.
Bounce: Starts at the first branch, continues to the last, back to the first branch in reverse order, and then starts again.
Percentage: Distributed across the branches based on a percentage split.
Destination Number: A valid telephone number or phone book entry
Ring Duration: Number of seconds the destination will ring before the call flow redirect to the next destination number or the Ring No Reply branch. (Valid values between 5 and 300 seconds).
Percentage: This field is only visible when the Distribution Type is Percentage. The percentage values against each destination number must add up to 100.
Add Number: Allows to add up to 10 destination numbers
